FAQs

PRE-ORDER & ORDER PROCESS

Is the reservation fee refundable?

Yes and no – we want to keep things real. Only real reservations from riders who really want to ride with us. But your reservation fee will be refunded if you go for a test drive and find that the XYTE ONE isn’t your thing.

Early birds get extra perks. Pre-order the Launch Edition and you’ll unlock an exclusive launch color plus the full options package, including both charging cables for Type 2 and household outlets.

Production ramps up in November. Deliveries for our launch cities start in early 2026. We’ll keep you informed at every step of the process.

Paris, Barcelona, Milan, Rome and Munich are our launch pads. More cities across Europe will follow in 2026. Not in a launch city? Sign up for updates and we’ll tell you when pre-orders open near you.

Yes — you can update your contact details or delivery address anytime. Cancelling your reservation means you lose your reservation fee, since it’s non-refundable — but we’re sure you won’t want to!

Good news — delivery is free for our first 500 Launch Edition vehicles. After that, standard delivery charges may apply, depending on your region.

You’ll get email updates at every milestone — production, shipping, local delivery. And you can reach out to our team anytime.

Secure payments by credit card, PayPal or direct bank transfer — your choice.

Absolutely. All payments go through certified secure gateways. Your data stays safe and fully encrypted.

Your reservation fee is safely deposited in a dedicated trust account until your final purchase — for your peace of mind.

EVERYDAY EXPERIENCE

How does it feel driving a three-wheeler?

Short answer: exciting and safe. Our front axle uses a steering principle called Ackermann geometry — first invented for horse carriages in 1817. It makes the inside wheel turn more sharply than the outer one when cornering, so every curve feels smooth, stable and secure.

Anywhere you’d park a scooter or compact car — city streets, garages, or (in most cities) designated two-wheeler spots.

Just standard scooter or motorcycle insurance — your local dealer can help you set it up.

No helmet required under current EU regulations — your integrated safety cell keeps you protected. We’re working to get official approval in all EU countries by passing the required tests.

A regular car license is all you need — no motorcycle license required.

Big enough for most trips: your backpack or briefcase for work, plus a sports bag. Or two large shopping bags. Or a carry-on suitcase if you’re heading to the airport.

TEST DRIVE

Can I test ride the XYTE ONE before buying?

Yes — we’ll host exclusive test ride days in our launch cities. Sign up and we’ll invite you as soon as dates are announced.

Nope. Just bring your valid car license, comfortable clothes and a smile — that’s it.

Absolutely — your friend or partner can join you at the event. The ride itself is solo (there’s no second seat), but you can take turns.

One of our team members will guide you through the controls and safety features, and share a few tips. Expect about 15–20 minutes in real city traffic.

CHARGING & BATTERY

What’s the estimated range on a single charge?

About 100 km — plenty for daily city trips plus a detour to your favorite café. Your actual range depends on traffic, weather and your driving style.

About 4–5 hours for a full charge, whether you plug into a Type 2 wallbox, a public charger or a household socket.

Definitely. Use any household socket or standard Type 2 EV charger — no special installation needed.

We design our batteries to last at least 8–10 years of daily urban use.

Depending on your local electricity rates, the cost is approximately €2.50 to €5.00 per 100 km (based on 30–60 cents per kWh). That’s about half the cost of running a small car.

No — it’s securely integrated for safety, performance and the lowest possible center of gravity.

Absolutely — any AC charging point with a household or Type 2 socket works just fine.

SUSTAINABILITY & IMPACT

Is the XYTE ONE eligible for government incentives?

In many regions, yes. Tax credits, EV grants or urban mobility subsidies may apply — check local programs to make the most of it.

Tiny footprint, big impact: about 8 kWh per 100 km — half of what an electric car needs. Built with 10 times fewer parts, minimal materials and maximum efficiency.

We’re committed to a circular battery cycle: reuse, refurbish, recycle. We partner with certified recyclers to keep valuable materials in the loop.

Yes — from the aluminium safety cell to our streamlined production process, everything is designed to minimize resource use.

TILTING MECHANISM

Does the XYTE ONE tilt when turning?

Yes — but only to make your ride safer and smoother. The tilting front axle lets you lean naturally into curves, like a scooter but with far more stability.

No balancing skills needed — the XYTE ONE does the physics for you. It feels natural, like riding a bicycle. When you stop at a light, just pull the left-hand lever to lock the tilt.

Absolutely. The lean-in design boosts stability in every turn. On a straight road, the low center of gravity keeps you planted and confident. You’ll get used to it within minutes during a test ride.

It’s all built into the steering geometry and reacts naturally while you drive. At low speeds or when stopped, pull the left lever to hold the vehicle steady. When parked, use the tilt lock under the handlebar — it prevents rolling and keeps your XYTE ONE upright.

The three-wheel design gives you more grip and control than any standard two-wheeler. The three-channel ABS also helps keep you safe, even in rain or light snow.

Just engage the tilt lock under the handlebar — quick, secure and ready for your next ride.

🎉 Excellent!
