OUR STORY

To improve the quality of urban life

A new category of vehicle is essential to make a significant contribution to solving the major traffic challenges in our cities. We want to redefine personal urban mobility.

OUR MISSION

Urban mobility is changing — and we’re driving it. In a world of shared rides, smart public transport, and autonomous driving, new ideas are needed to make personal mobility better, faster, and safer.

At XYTE mobility, we focus on what really moves cities: people.
80% of urban journeys are solo trips — yet most vehicles are oversized, inefficient, and stuck in outdated thinking. We’re here to challenge that.

We free up space, cut down emissions, make roads safer.
And most of all, we bring flow and ease back to everyday commuting.

That’s why we created the XYTE ONE — the urban mobility hero that blends the agility of a scooter with the protection of a car.

Big idea. Small footprint. Massive impact.

Modern Mobility is our Passion

My destiny is to resolve the conflict between vehicle size and safety. Cars have no future in cities but 2-wheelers are too dangerous to drive. That is, why we designed the XYTE ONE.

XYTE mobility Dr. Wolfgang Ziebart Founder and CEO

I've shaped bodies for BMWs and Rolls-Royces — cars built to impress and endure. Now I'm putting all my expertise into something much smaller but even smarter. Good engineering doesn't need showy size — it needs to fit future cities and foremost protect the human inside.

XYTE mobility Klaus Gersmann Head of Body Engineering

For me, good design is more than looks — it shapes how we live. From bold concepts to the cars on the road, I've always pushed for visions and vehicles that feel fresh and dynamic. With the XYTE ONE, we're reshaping urban rides to keep cities flowing — and to make people feel they're part of it.

XYTE mobility Erik Goplen Chief Design Officer

I turn ideas into rides — that's what I do. From sports cars to city concepts, I've built vehicles that stand out and handle right. With the XYTE ONE, we're creating something new: agile like a scooter, safe like a car — and ready to change how cities move.

XYTE mobility Jens Janczyk Head of Vehicle Dynamics

For over 30 years, I've made sure vehicles keep their promises — from the first blueprint to the last test drive. At XYTE mobility, I'm proud to put my experience into building a new category of vehicle that meets the highest standards, so our riders feel safe and secure every time they hit the road.

XYTE mobility Günter Wojta Chief Quality Officer

I've always loved turning bold ideas into real machines — from sports cars to city vehicles. With XYTE, we're building something truly different: a new kind of ride that brings freedom and joy back to urban mobility, without compromising on safety or fun.

XYTE mobility Peter Müller CTO Mechanics

For me, technology only matters if it makes life better. I've spent my entire career making sure drivers can rely on every wire, every system, every ride. With XYTE we're creating a whole new way to move through the city: safer, simpler, and made for everyday life.

XYTE mobility Axel Deicke CTO Electrics/Electronics & Aftersales

For me, sustainable mobility is not just a necessity, it's a responsibility. We have the duty to create solutions that respect our planet while empowering people to move freely and safely. The XYTE ONE truly reflects my vision of safe, joyful, and efficient mobility.

XYTE mobility Gianfranco Pizzuto Chief Sales Officer

Cities are stuck in traffic, noise, and emissions—and people pay the price. I want to rethink—and retell—how we move through our cities: smarter, safer, and more sustainable. The XYTE ONE is the perfect hero in this new narrative.

XYTE mobility Christoph Walz Chief Marketing Officer

Dreams on wheels don't move until they have type approval. For years, I've made sure unique vehicles meet every rule, pass every test, and hit the road safely. With the XYTE ONE, I'm proud to help turn a bold new idea into a fully approved reality for our cities.

Transforming the Future of Urban Mobility with XYTE

Increasing urbanization

By 2035, more than 62% of the global population will live in urban areas. As cities grow denser, people demand cleaner air, more green space, and better quality of life. Car-centered urban planning is being rolled back — step by step.

Across Europe, cities are restricting cars in favor of people. London charges hefty congestion fees. Paris makes parking prohibitively expensive. Over 150 cities worldwide plan to ban diesel and gasoline vehicles altogether.

Urban populations keep growing — and so do daily commutes. After 2030, over 100 million cars and millions of two-wheelers will be produced every year to meet demand. The result? More traffic, more pressure on infrastructure, and more emissions — unless we rethink how we move.

Electrification is going mainstream. 21 of the 27 EU countries now offer direct incentives for EV purchases. All EU members provide tax breaks or other financial perks. It’s a unified commitment for electric mobility.

Mobility habits are shifting fast. Minimobility is no longer niche — it’s a serious option for millions. One in three “car-only” drivers is rethinking their stance. And the number of “net-zero enthusiasts” is set to nearly double.

Low on consumption

Only 6.1 kWh per 100 km – less than half of what an economical electric car needs.

Thrifty on resources

Built with 10 times fewer parts than a car. Simpler to make, better for the planet.

Light on weight

210 kg — just 15% of the weight of an average car. Good for efficiency — better for your tires.

Compact battery

Just 36 kg of battery weight is all it takes for a one-person ride.

Small footprint

Takes just a quarter of a car’s space — driving or parked. Cities love that.

Your silent buddy

Slips through traffic with barely a whisper. Just a calm presence in a noisy city.
